The county of Nottinghamshire has plenty of excellent golf courses to discover, making it the perfect place to spend a weekend out on the ‘greens’ or with crazy golf attractions too.  

Wollaton Park Golf Club

Set in the stunning grounds of Wollaton Hall, Wollaton Park Golf Club is a traditional members club offering a warm welcome to visitors, societies and prospective members. There are a number of opens taking place throughout the year, in particular the inaugural Robin Hood Open which takes palce on Sunday 21st September is set to be a great event for golfers of all capabilities.

Notts Golf Club (Hollinwell)

An excellent golf club located near Annesley in Nottinghamshire. In 2012, Hollinwell hosts the 86 Annual Boys Amateur Championships with over 250 entrants from 22 countries worldwide. Also features on the Hollinwell event list over the years has been The Dunlop Masters and the John Players Classic among others. A fine example of a heathland golf course a trip to Hollinwell as a player or spectator is strongly recommended.

Rufford Park Golf and Country Club

Among Nottinghamshire's best, Rufford Park Golf and Country Club is an exciting challenge for all players, this 6,343 yard, par 70 course is set in over 200 acres of beautiful parkland. You'll be spoilt by the spectacular views of Rufford Lakes and Abbey. 

Norwood Park Golf Centre

This is rapidly becoming one of Nottinghamshire’s premier golfing destinations. Both the 18 hole Norwood course (measuring 6805 yards off the back tees) and the 9 hole Westwood PAR 3 course have been designed by Clyde B Johnston, past president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects. He has succeeded in creating two magnificent layouts which blend perfectly with the historic parkland setting of Norwood Park.

The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club

Formerly Cotgrave Place Golf Club, boasts magnificent views of surrounding countryside, only three miles from the centre of Nottingham. Here you'll play on an 18 hole championships standard course.

Ruddington Grange

Growing a reputation as one of Nottinghamshire's most enjoyable and demanding golf courses.  Designed by John Small and Eddie McAusland, the course opened in 1988 and has steadily improved since. 

De Vere Belton Woods

Situated nearby in Lincolnshire, this is a modern resort set in 475 acres of tranquil countryside.  Belton Woods offers golfers a choice of three courses, from championship, tricky to picturesque. 

Southwell Golf Club

Founded in 1993, Southwell Golf Club has established itself as one of the finest courses in Nottinghamshire and offers guests and members premier facilities for the perfect day of golf. Only 2 miles from Southwell, and 5 miles from the market town of Newark, it's ideally situated for visitors. The spacious and comfortable club house allows guests to relax and unwind, enjoying refreshments before and after their game. The course offers challenging holes and is on the estate of the Southwell Racecourse, meaning you're always close to some sporting action in this rural, friendly part of Nottinghamshire. Ramsdale Park Golf Centre

Situated in Calverton on the outskirts of Nottingham, the Ramsdale Park Golf Centre is easy to get to and offers some of the best golf facilities around, including two 18-hole golf courses, driving range, golf school and golf shop. Also on-site, Pirate Island Adventure Golf offers something that the whole family can enjoy with its mini-golf and crazy golf course. 

Crazy golf in Nottinghamshire...

Put your shopping bags down and have fun at The Lost City Adventure Golf  at Nottingham city centre's Cornerhouse complex, with two 18 hole adventure golf courses available – the whole family can join in whatever the weather.

Another crazy golf adventure awaits you at Pirate Island Adventure Golf, great for everyone from young scallywags to old sea dogs. Open since July 2014, this attraction promises to be different to other crazy golf adventures, and is also great fun for stag and hen parties and staff social events.
